Cambridge University has held on to it’s top spot in the Guardian’s University League Table for 2019.

The tables aim to recommend universities to students, and so uses various measures of student satisfaction.  Cambridge is comfortably top on one measure: the average entry tariff.  That means it’s harder to get into Cambridge than any other UK university

There may also be some gloating and glee that their greatest rivals, Oxford, has slipped down to third in the table, pushed out of the top two by little St Andrews.  Traditionally the top two places have been held by the Oxbridge pair.
