It’s a highlight of the year for many folk from Cambridge and miles around, and something the floods of tourists know nothing about.  Cambridge Folk festival is back from 28 July to 31 July, at it’s home in by Cherry Hinton Hall.

The line-up looks, to us, a bit lacking in sparkle compared to other years.  Billy Bragg, Clannad and Seasick Steve are all back, which is great, as are Show of Hands and The Young Uns, but there don’t seem to be any headliners that will make people decide to visit the festival simply to see them.  Despite that. it’s sure to sell out, so if you are interested, get your tickets now!
